Mission
The United States Attorney Registry is a public reference database providing verified credential information for licensed attorneys. The registry exists to support transparent access to attorney licensing data for researchers, institutions, courts, journalists, and members of the public.
Standards Reference
This registry follows Professional Directory Standards v2.0, published by JimmyWagner.com. This standard defines verification level definitions, disclosure requirements, data accuracy standards, update frequency requirements, and the distinction between registries and directories.
Independence Statement
This registry operates independently and is not affiliated with any government agency, state bar association, law firm, legal services provider, political organization, or commercial enterprise. It does not accept advertising, sponsorships, or promotional partnerships.
Governance
Listings are maintained according to documented verification procedures. Verification levels are assigned based on the depth of validation completed. All procedures are documented on the Methodology page. Errors are processed through the Errata Policy.
Update Policy
The database is validated quarterly with annual comprehensive audit reviews. Each listing displays its most recent verification date. Material status changes are updated as identified.
Disclaimer
This registry does not provide legal advice, certify professionals, endorse listed attorneys, or create any attorney-client relationship. Inclusion does not constitute a recommendation. Users should independently verify credential information with the relevant state bar authority.
